Smile! Today not only marks International Day of Happiness, but the first day of Spring.
The United Nations established International Day of Happiness to “recognize the importance of happiness in the lives of people around the world.” Celebrations have been held on March 20th each year since 2012.
So where does Canada stand in the World Happiness Report? Norway is first, Denmark second , followed by Iceland, Switzerland, Finland, Netherlands, and in seventh place is Canada, down from last year’s sixth place according to the latest World Happiness Report, released Monday by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network for the United Nations. Something to learn about; something to think about?
We hope you and your family are enjoying a happy Spring break! We look forward to welcoming students and teachers back on Monday, March 27th!
Why support PAC initiatives like the monthly PAC hot lunches and bake sales?
Because it helps us purchase new sets of sporting equipment for each division for students to use outside and play with at recess and lunch! Thank you for your continued support!
