- PLANNING FOR 2018/2019
- HIP HOP AT CAMBRIDGE WAS A GREAT SUCCESS

- PAC NEWS
We are already beginning to plan for a successful 2018/19 school year. Staff assignments and class placements are generally not decided until enrolment has been confirmed during the first week of school in September. Placement of students in classes is a very time consuming process and much thought, time and effort goes into these decisions. Ultimately we work on placing students in the best learning environment to suit their specific needs and consider the following criteria:
- student intellectual, social and emotional development
- learning styles and strengths of students
- integration of students with special needs
- degree of independence in student work habits
- students who do/do not work well together
- maintaining appropriate class size and composition
If you feel your child requires special consideration when we make placements for classes please put your request in writing, outlining your child’s academic and social needs, and email it to Shaun Nelson at (email@example.com) by May 23, 2018. Please note that specific teacher requests or friend requests will not be considered. Friends can always see each other at recess, lunch or after school.
With the trust and support of home, we are confident that all children will be placed in classes that will allow them to have a productive and rewarding 2018/19 school year. Your patience and understanding regarding this matter is greatly appreciated.
