- QUOTE OF THE WEEK
One of our school priorities this year is to help all students become better at regulating their own emotions & behaviour, solve problems in peaceful ways, and develop a stronger sense of empathy and understanding towards others. These important skills, that all students need to develop in order to engage in deep and life-long learning, fall under the heading of Social Responsibility and are one of the essential Core Competencies that are integrated into all aspects of the K-7 curriculum . Over the next week, all students will complete an anonymous online survey so staff at Cambridge can see the strengths and areas that need additional support that students have highlighted.
BACK TO “IN THIS ISSUE”
On behalf of all students and staff at Cambridge, thank you to the PAC for creating a festive atmosphere in the front entrance of our school throughout the month of December, and for mobilizing the troops and cooking up a storm of pancakes for the “annual last day before holidays pancake lunch”.
