Cambridge grounds will have a bit of construction going on out back of the school for about a week starting November 22nd. The City of Surrey is installing a new fire hydrant out beside our new portables. Fencing is going up on November 21st and a trench will be dug along the inside of the field from an existing hydrant (see image below). Students are asked to stay away from the construction zone. Our hope is that everything is completed in a week.

CLOTHING DRIVE – A GREAT SUCCESS

ClothingAll of last week, Cambridge Leadership students visited classrooms to remind and promote the important clothing drive that was taking place to help a needy school in Surrey. By the end of the week, the generosity of our community was clearly evident as mounds of beautiful clothing (close to 15 packed garbage bags) filled the PAC kitchen. As one of our leadership students collected donations, she commented that, “Cambridge really cares“. Indeed the community does and thankful staff from the school are coming by tomorrow to pick up the donations.

On behalf of our school community, thank you for your efforts to help equip students in need with clothing to keep them warm and dry during the Fall & Winter months.
