- IMAGES FROM YOUR EASTER WEEKEND
As we move past the second week of April, glimpses of sunshine combined with magnificent cherry blossoms and vibrant yellow tulips, remind us that “APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS”. Although the forcast for the week ahead looks warm but wet, we are hopeful (on a daily basis) that students can be outside for recess and lunch.
It is important that students come to school each day dressed for the weather. Research shows that physical activity feeds the brain and students learn better and faster when they have breaks and down time. They are also more focused & less fidgety when having an opportunity to engage in unstructured play, as they do when outside for breaks.
Please ensure that your child brings a proper jacket and footwear if the weather looks unpredictable.
“Drop Off Buddies” continues each morning, Monday through Friday and our eager grade 4/5 volunteers are there to greet your child(ren) and walk them to their classroom meeting areas.
It is important that parents only stop briefly in the drop off zone and pull over to the right before letting children leave the vehicle. Please do not double park and be patient as other families drop off their children.
Please remember that NO CARS ARE TO BE LET UNATTENDED IN THE DROP OFF ZONE in front of the school in the morning or after school. It is important that this area is always open for emergency vehicles.
Kindergarten registration is well underway! If you have not registered your child for September, please visit our office staff as soon as you can. Feel free to share this information with your friends that may have Kindergarten aged children starting school in September.
Moving homes or schools? If so, please let our office staff know so that we can update your contact information. If you are planning to enrol your child in a different school for September, please let the office know as soon as possible. We have a process that needs to be followed to ensure that your child has a smooth transition into their new school.
May 5th is a Surrey wide Professional Day and
all public schools will be closed.

A huge Thank you to Greg and Liz Holmes from MacDonald Realty for sponsoring the Photobooth! Everyone loved getting silly and taking photos.
