DRESSING FOR APRIL SHOWERS

As we move past the second week of April, glimpses of sunshine combined with magnificent cherry blossoms and vibrant yellow tulips, remind us that “APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS”. Although the forcast for the week ahead looks warm but wet, we are hopeful (on a daily basis) that students can be outside for recess and lunch.

IScreen Shot 2017-04-17 at 6.11.58 PMt is important that students come to school each day dressed for the weather. Research shows that physical activity feeds the brain and students learn better and faster when they have breaks and down time. They are also more focused & less fidgety when having an opportunity to engage in unstructured play, as they do when outside for breaks.

Please ensure that your child brings a proper jacket and footwear if the weather looks unpredictable.
