IN THIS ISSUE: (click CONTINUE READING below to access links.)

CROSS COUNTRY School is about learning, but school is also about developing the whole child. That’s why it’s important to provide as many opportunities as possible for students. This week marked the start of Cross Country season and students participated in their first meet. We have 4 meets remaining: September 29, October 6, October 13, and October 20. A very special thank you to Ms. Steeves, Ms. Ineson, and Ms. Gray for organizing and coaching this activity. Enjoy this look back at our first meet:

BACK TO “IN THIS ISSUE” MEET THE TEACHER/COMMUNITY BBQ Our Meet the Teacher/Community BBQ took place this past Thursday and what a great event it was! As a community, it is important to come together, share, and celebrate. Thank you so much for attending. A special thanks to our hard-working PAC members for organizing this event!

BACK TO “IN THIS ISSUE” THIS WEEK IN TWEETS Twitter often gets negative press, not because of the tool, but because of the behaviour of the user. Schools are harnessing the power of Twitter to keep their learning communities informed. You can find a summary of tweets here weekly. Better yet, sign up for a Twitter account and follow @CambridgeLearns and you’ll know exactly what’s happening at school!
